is the founder of CCYT. He holds a B.S. in musical theatre [from SUNY Fredonia] and an M.A. in elementary education [from The College at Saint Rose]. During his tenure as a New York State certified teacher, he collaborated for three years with the Bill T. Jones Arnie Zane Dance Company (Education) to develop a program that integrated dance into the classroom (grades 3 – 5), and taught numerous professional development classes for teachers in active learning. Under the auspices of CCYT, he developed and currently produces the Theatre Arts Programs at the Hudson City School District Intermediate School, the Summer Funshop musical theatre program, and CCYT’s Performance Company. For the past thirty years, Edgar has directed and produced CCYT’s Musical Theatre Workshop.
is a co-owner, with her mother, of the Faxon School of Dance. Her theater credits include the Performing Arts Center at RPI, the Mac-Haydn Theatre and the Theatre Barn. Besides choreographing the annual Chatham High School musical, Jamie has also choreographed productions at the Brittonkill and East Greenbush schools. When not involved in dance she is involved with children in her capacity as a school nurse in the Brittonkill School District.

has been directing and choreographing with CCYT since 2012. She has also helped to develop the summer workshop’s Enrichment Program and is the Director of our Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School Drama Clubs in Hudson, NY. A new graduate, she plans to continue with CCYT in giving children an opportunity to learn and train, not just as actors, but also in the areas of technical theatre. Danielle holds a BA in Performing Arts Theatre with a minor in Arts Management from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR & TEACHING ARTIST
has been with the Workshop since third grade, where her first show was The Emperor’s New Clothes. She was also an original member of the Columbia County Youth Theatre Program and in 2013, she transitioned from actor to staff member. Cassidy is a current student of the Muriel Scott Faxon School of Dance and was very active in her school’s drama and music programs from grade 4 through high school. She recently graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, with a B.A in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Psychology.
is our designer and painter for the musicals we perform on the Chatham High School stage. Bill has worked as designer and scenic artist for Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, feature film, and TV. He has been the supervising scenic artist at the Santa Fe Opera and after 25 years, recently retired as assistant charge scenic artist at the Metropolitan Opera in N.Y. For the last thirteen years, Bill’s most rewarding work has been creating scenery for the kids.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Olivia has been with Columbia County Youth Theatre since 2011, where she participated in our production of Flapper. She continued performing in our summer productions until she transitioned to a staff member in 2017. Olivia is excited to be able to help provide our students with the memorable theatre experiences that she had as a kid. She recently graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a B.A. in Early childhood and Childhood Education.
IT DIRECTOR & TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
has been running sound and other technical aspects of theater with the Germantown Central School Drama Club and Upstage Productions since he was twelve years old. This summer will be his seventh year with CCYT as their IT and Technical Director. Outside of the theater, Devin has earned his Master’s degree from Marist College in Information Technology.
EDITING DIRECTOR & TEACHING ARTIST
has been with the Workshop for 15 years. His first 10 years was as a participant. He joined the CCYT staff 5 years ago and has worked as a director’s assistant, and more recently as a director with the summer program and choreographer with CCYT’s Hudson City School District drama program. A native of Chatham, NY, Ed earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Russell Sage College, where he studied Musical Theater. Ed’s stage credits include work with the CCYT Performance Company, The Mac-Haydn Theater, and The Theater Institute at Sage, Dorset Theater Festival, and New York Musical Festival.
Nadine brings her passion for working with Kids and her creativity to CCYT for the fourth year. As the former owner of JUMP! Indoor Children’s Play Center she created and designed countless costumes for children’s themed birthday parties and events. In the past, Nadine has also designed & created numerous costumes for various organizations, local Schools & Upstage Productions.
Stacy has worked as a costume designer for CCYT for the past 3 years. She has also designed and produced costumes for the Ballet and all That Jazz dance studio, Upstage Productions, Chatham School District, as well as over a decade of tailoring and clothing construction experience. Stacy loves to work with children and teach them how to express and enhance characters through costumes, props, and accessories.
is a new addition to the CCYT family but no stranger to performance and musical direction. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a B.S. in Jazz Studies and Vocal Performance, and while there, musically directed a swath of student-run productions including greats such as Into the Woods and Urinetown! Since moving to Hudson in 2016 Andrew has developed a strong role in the local theater community, musically directing cabarets, community theater and high school productions. He is thrilled to bring his experience to the CCYT Summer Workshop.
has earned her Mater’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Annie currently teaches beginning band and chorus at Catskill Elementary School. In addition to her time in Catskill, Annie has taught at several Summer Theater Camps in New England and New York, teaches private voice students and adjudicates for NYSSMA Festivals throughout New York State. An avid performer, she belongs to several community music groups including the Treble Choraliers of Catskill, The Hudson River Bells of Athens, and the Jubilate Singers of Bethlehem.
“Miz M” has directed the Funshop summer program since 2013 after retiring from a career of teaching dance and directing a preschool. In addition to Funshop, Eileen worked with children at our Montgomery C. Smith Intermediate School Drama Club program as their director for many years
is a lifelong resident of East Chatham, NY. Wayne holds a BS in Science Education and a MS in Education Technology from UAlbany and was a Science teacher at Chatham Middle School for 13 years and Taconic Hills High School for 13 years. His last few years at Taconic Hills he was the Technical Director for their Performing Arts Center and has recently done Scenic Construction for Chatham High School’s musical productions.
